English Department

The English Department at Mountain View High School is dedicated to developing strong readers, skilled writers, and critical thinkers. Through the study of literature, writing, speaking, and analysis, students learn to communicate effectively and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Our curriculum includes classic and contemporary texts, diverse perspectives, and multiple forms of writing. Courses are designed to support all learners, from foundational classes to Advanced Placement offerings.
