School Family Partnership Committee

The School–Family Partnership Committee is a collaborative group of families, staff, and school leaders who work together to strengthen communication, trust, and shared responsibility for student success. The committee is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for families to provide feedback and partner with the school to support a positive educational experience for all students.

The purpose of the committee is to:

  • Create a consistent and welcoming space for family voice and feedback
  • Strengthen partnerships between families and the school
  • Support continuous improvement in academics, school climate, and student well-being
  • Ensure school decisions reflect the needs and experiences of our community

Committee members may provide input on:

  • School and classroom communication
  • Academic supports and learning experiences
  • School climate, culture, and sense of belonging
  • Family engagement events and resources
  • Student support systems and services

Through this partnership, the committee helps the school:

  • Understand what is working well and where improvements are needed
  • Use family feedback to guide decision-making
  • Build trust through open dialogue and transparency
  • Create an inclusive, supportive environment where students can thrive

The School–Family Partnership Committee is grounded in the belief that when families and schools work together, students are more successful—academically, socially, and emotionally.
